Uninstall or reinstall FeeBee

If you only want to stop charging fees temporarily, pause your active fees. You do not need to uninstall FeeBee.

Stop fees without uninstalling

Pause each active fee in FeeBee. This keeps the setup available while you test a theme, change your configuration, or decide whether you still need the app.

Empty the cart and add a product again when checking that the fees have stopped.

Before uninstalling

If you are removing FeeBee permanently:

  1. Record any fee settings you may want to recreate later. Review connected apps and exports that use FeeBee product IDs.
  2. Delete every fee inside FeeBee. FeeBee also deletes the individual Shopify product created for each fee.
  3. If the store has a shared Fees product, delete it manually in Shopify Admin. FeeBee does not remove this product when the last fee is deleted.
  4. Turn off Shopify Flow workflows that manage FeeBee fee items.
  5. Remove or replace active discounts created with Discount Ignoring Fees.

FeeBee Script and FeeBee app blocks stop working when the app is removed. You only need to remove custom theme text or code that you added separately.

Uninstall FeeBee from Settings → Apps and sales channels in Shopify Admin.

What remains after uninstalling

  • Existing orders and their fee lines remain unchanged.
  • Any FeeBee products you did not delete remain in the Shopify product catalog, but FeeBee no longer updates them.
  • External mappings and exports may still refer to the old products or Shopify product IDs.

Do not rely on your FeeBee settings being available after a later reinstall. Keep a record of any configuration you may need again.

Deleting the products does not remove their fee lines from existing orders.

Reinstall FeeBee

After installing FeeBee again on the same store:

  1. Review any existing fee setup and create the fees the store needs.
  2. Enable FeeBee Script in the current theme.
  3. Add a product-page FeeBee block if you want customers to see product fees before adding an item to the cart.
  4. Test a matching product through the cart and checkout.
  5. Activate the fees when the result is correct.
  6. Re-enable any Shopify Flow workflows and recreate FeeBee discounts the store still needs.

FeeBee creates new individual fee products and, when needed, a new shared Fees product. These products receive new Shopify product IDs.
