Refunds, exports, and connected apps
FeeBee fees appear as individual items in completed Shopify orders. You can refund them separately and identify them in exports or connected apps.
Refund a fee
When creating a refund in Shopify, review both the product and fee quantities. Select the fee only when it should be refunded under your store’s policy. FeeBee does not decide this automatically.
For example, leave a non-refundable handling fee unchanged when refunding the product. For a partial refund, decide separately whether an order fee should also be refunded.
Accounting and exports
Use clear fee names, SKUs, or barcodes so accounting and ERP systems can map each fee correctly. You can add a SKU or barcode to an individual FeeBee product in Shopify without changing how the fee works.
Manage FeeBee products in ShopifyConnected apps
Accounting, ERP, shipping, and fulfillment apps may treat a fee like an ordinary product. FeeBee adds the FeeBee fee tag to every fee product. Use this tag when an app supports product-based filters. Otherwise, use the fee’s SKU or barcode.
Place one test order before relying on an integration. Confirm that the fee appears correctly in the export, document, or workflow the app creates.
