Product page

Open one matching and one non-matching product. If you use a fee notice, check that it appears only where it should and updates when the selected variant changes.

Cart and checkout

1. Add one matching product to cart.
2. Check the fee name, amount, and display.
3. Increase the product quantity.
4. Confirm a product fee increases with the quantity.
5. Confirm an order fee still appears once.
6. Remove the matching product and confirm the fee updates or disappears.
7. Continue to checkout and check the same name and amount.

Complete an order

Place one test order when possible. Check the fee line, tax, discount, and fulfillment result in Shopify Admin. Cancel or refund the order when you finish.

Check the features you use

• Test one included and one excluded Market if the fee uses Markets.
• Test a guest and signed-in customer if the fee uses customer tags.
• Apply the discount types your store uses.
• Check the cart drawer, quick add, or custom buy buttons your theme uses.
• Test Shopify POS, draft orders, and accelerated checkout if you use them.
• Confirm custom product fields reach the completed order if you use them.

Pause the fee if a required flow does not work.
