Using FeeBee with bundle, subscription, and cart apps
Some apps change the same products or cart that FeeBee uses to add fees. Check the relevant section below when your store uses bundles, subscriptions, product options, or a custom cart.
Bundle apps
Shopify lets only one app control how products are grouped in the cart. FeeBee therefore cannot add fees automatically when another bundle app already controls this behavior.
For a fixed bundle that always contains the same products, add the individual FeeBee fee product directly to the bundle in your bundle app. The fee then becomes a regular part of that bundle. Check its quantity and the complete bundle price before publishing it.
Dynamic bundles do not have an automatic workaround while the bundle app controls the cart grouping.
Find the FeeBee fee product in ShopifySubscription apps
FeeBee cannot add fees to subscription purchases or recurring subscription orders. Shopify does not allow subscription products to be changed in the way FeeBee needs, and there is currently no workaround.
If the product also offers a one-time purchase, that option can still receive a fee.
Personalization and product option apps
Apps for engraving, uploads, bookings, gift messages, and other product options often save their information as line item properties.
When a fee uses Bundle with product, configure FeeBee to keep the properties your app needs. This setup is not required for Bundle with fees.
Keep custom product details when using feesCustom cart drawers
Some cart drawer apps do not show the products and fees inside a Shopify bundle. The fee can still be included in the total and appear correctly at checkout even when the drawer does not show it separately.
Compare the cart drawer, full cart, and checkout. If checkout is correct, the fee calculation is working and the cart drawer needs a display adjustment.
