Set up and target fees for Shopify POS

FeeBee works with Shopify POS. Add the POS Fees tile to manage fees that appear separately from products, including order fees. Fees using Bundle with product are added with their products automatically.

You can enable each fee for the Online Store, Point of Sale, or both. POS fees can apply at every retail location or only at selected locations.

Choose where a fee applies

Create or edit a fee, then find Sales channels and markets in the sidebar.

1. Select the settings icon to open Manage sales channels and markets.
2. Under Sales channels, keep Point of Sale enabled. You can enable or disable Online store independently.
3. Open POS locations and choose All POS locations or select individual locations.
4. Select Done, then save the fee.

All POS locations includes locations you add in the future. When you select individual locations, the fee applies only when the current Shopify POS session uses one of those locations.

At least one sales channel must remain enabled. If Point of Sale is enabled, selecting individual locations requires at least one location.

Turn off All POS locations to choose the stores where this fee applies.

Market targeting still applies at POS. A fee must match the selected sales channel, POS location, Market, products, and any customer conditions before FeeBee adds it.

Add the POS Fees tile

1. Open Shopify POS and go to the smart grid.
2. Select Add tile → App → FeeBee → POS Fees.
3. Save the grid and repeat these steps for any other smart grids your staff use.

The POS Fees tile shows whether separate fees are enabled.

How the tile affects fees

• Bundle with product: The fee stays with its product. The tile does not turn it off.
• Bundle with fees and order fees: FeeBee adds these fees while the tile shows Enabled and removes them when it shows Disabled.

Tap the tile to switch separate fees on or off. Check that it shows Enabled before starting the next sale.

The tile affects all separate fees that match the current POS location and the fee’s other targeting settings. It does not change which sales channels or locations are saved on the fee.

The Handling Fee appears under Fees, while the bottle deposit stays with BeeUp Drink.

Check the setup

1. Switch Shopify POS to a location that should receive the fee.
2. Add a product that should receive the fee and confirm that it appears.
3. If you selected individual locations, test a location that should not receive the fee.
4. Disable and re-enable POS Fees, then complete a test sale.

If the tile is missing

Return to the smart grid and select Add tile → App → FeeBee → POS Fees. Staff need permission to customize the smart grid.

If the dashboard still reports POS as inactive, reopen FeeBee after adding the tile.
